Gunung Rinjani Trek - Jun 19th 2010

Greetings everyone,


One of our biggest event for this year will be the Rinjani trek. It will be a 4 days 3 nights event. Gunung Rinjani is located in Lombok Indonesia. We will be flying into Bali and then transfer into Lombok. Rest at the lodges at the Rinjani center and then trek the next day. After the trek, we will have 2 days of rest as well in Bali. The full itinerary details are in the excel attached.

To confirm your participation a deposit of RM800 will be required. We will split the collection of this deposit into 2.

First deposit - RM 500 (will be due on 13-3-2010) - This deposit will be non refundable as it will be used for flight booking and etc. We will of course detail out every expenses to you as per our transparency policy http://www.vtrek.org/photos.html

Second deposit - RM 300 (will be due on 28-3-2010)

The final payment will be RM 700 and this will need to be paid by 24-4-2010.

We have already started training for the event. The regular training sessions are

Every Wednesday we jog at Bukit Kiara park (http://winnieyong.wordpress.com/2008/09/28/my-weekly-runjogwalk/). Do please sms me if you wanna join in. We meet at the carpark at 6:15PM and start the jog.

Every Sunday we will alternate training at either Batu Caves or Lake Gardens. These trainings start at 7:30 AM.

I have been to Rinjani 2 years back and it is a trek that any outdoor enthusiast should try doing. Enter the journey and write your story with us.

There is an evaluation to enter the trip. The first level will be based on whether you guys have been with us and which mountain you have climbed before. If need being, a second assessment will done (in a trail which we will choose).
